Galaxy Note
Im curious if the UWB chip will be locked down or not. Came across a Bosche Dtect 150 and a Walabot which uses uwb to detect plumbing, studs, electrical, and piping.
Perhaps the NXP UWB hardware could be used for other things other than unlocking a door or interacting with IOT devices.
It has a reciever to listen for responses from other devices so in theory it should be able to recieve its own echos for measurement.

Galaxy NoteHi meep, UWB has the added portion of the physical layer used to send and receive data packets. With this layer, currently being specified in IEEE 802.15.4z, a critical security extension not available in other technologies can be leveraged, allowing for security techniques such as cryptography and random number generation that deter attackers from accessing UWB communications.
