I just noticed I have a new app called Visual Voicemail on my Note 10+.  I'm guessing it came with the latest update last week.

I'm with Koodo, does anyone know if this came from Samsung or from Koodo, meaning now they support Visual Voicemail on Samsung phones?

Thx

Hi everyone,

I have it on my Note10+ and it works great!  I can even forward the messages via email/text.

To note:

- You'll need to have the android Visual voicemail option enabled on your account

- Once setup, you'll have a new "visual Voicemail" icon on your phone.  You should be able to go into it and initialize your mailbox

- If you get the "we ran into a problem, call voicemail to complete the setup" message, just go to the "visual voicemail" icon on your phone, hold down the icon, and click on "show info".  click on storage, and press the clear cache and clear data buttons on the bottom.

Keep in mind that you will need to make certain you have the Android Visual voicemail option on your account. If you don't, then this feature will not work at all.

It should work on both koodo and TELUS.  Thanks, and good luck!

@NBMZ, I tried your steps, but didn't work.
I am with Telus, and it clearly says it's $5 to add on visual voicemail as per the attached image so I would not get everyone's hopes up. There could be just a very good chance your mobile plan includes visual voicemail. (You can probably confirm this from looking at your plan) There is no "android visual voicemail" from the app store just this one that is on the phone which appeared after an update. it's not a Telus/Koodo app either. but the only way to "active" is by adding visual voicemail with your provider
