Hi Samsung community,

I have a friend who has bought a Note20 Ultra recently. It turned out that it is a Chinese model
(SM-N9860). For him, it is essential to use wifi calling but after registering for it on Telus, but it just doesn't work. The message after registering wifi calling on telus is that all the info has been entered and it should work. But on the phone settings itself, it doesn't turn on.

I would be greatful if someone could help me. Thank you everyone!! :)

Hi EmersonHaensel, I suggest you to contact your carrier service.

Since this is a pre-production device, there are no real updates yet for this phone. Therefore, there isn't much information available and you can only do a little debugging. Since this is also a very new phone, I'm also not surprised it's giving issues. I have already posted on the Telus forum, which has much more information. The community really is a great source of information. The community has also started a Telus issue tracker that allows you to create issues for specific devices. I have found this great for when a major bug is introduced with the devices that I need to submit.

I do understand your frustration though. This is why I have also set up my own Telus Community for community support (this community is also on mobile.Telus). I have seen your issue listed there. You can add it there too and hopefully it will be fixed.

You really don't know what you're talking about, do you..

The SM-N9860 is NOT a "pre-production" device. It's the Chinese variant of the regular production Samsung Galaxy Note.

You should stop posting misleading, uninformed nonsense here.
