$300 voucher is what I want to be compensated for pre-order on feb 9 or 10 . I'm sure there alot of frustrated customers  with the misinformation given and vacation was planned with all the stress if they should cancel the phone

You realize the colour you ordered had a notice on the product page where it would be delayed by a few weeks from the shipping date due to being a custom colour, right?

I understand the frustrations since my Black S22 Ultra 512GB was delayed by a month (ordered Feb 17th and got it last week March 23rd) but it's not really surprising about your Sky Blue S22U order being late.

Major issue is not the delay really, it is the frustration that has now set in because almost everyone here has received false information, scripted responses with no real tracking of any value. A promise date must be honored, and if cannot be then updates must be issued timely to the customers who PRE-ORDER. not a cheap phone, excitement, vacation plans that made at least one of us here cancel prior because going over 7 weeks now. So yes, you are right, but things could have been and should have been managed much better by a multi billion $$ company.

Yup, it definitely could have been handled a lot better especially from such a large company. My biggest issue of this whole delayed order thing is there was really no communication if the order was further delayed and when you expect your order. They need to improve this as it's not the first time it's happened (though I suspect it could be a whole Samsung Canada not getting enough resources and getting less priority from Samsung HQ in Korea)

But this thread is hilarious asking for $300 in compensation for a colour that was expected to be late from the beginning.

That is just his frustration response. he also knows Samsung isnt going to give $300 although care plus for everyone would be nice for customer retention. but what do i know, i am not a CEO!

When I pressed the buy button it said
"Please allow 3 -4 weeks for custom colors." I ordered Red 256 on March 10th. Like most, it is the lack of communication from Samsung, the copy & paste answers from CS reps that has our dander up.

And the email that followed ordering said "up to" 4 weeks...not 4 to 8 weeks. Worst of all is that there was zero communication from Samsungs end to inform anyone of further delays. We had to ask them what was going on & still haven't received any information besides what we've managed to put together as a collective on these forums. Samsung still can't seem to tell us anything about our specific order statuses & many of us are on week 7 of waiting.Screenshot_20220330-131703_Gmail_6460_1648660906.jpg

Yeah, not happening unless someone organizes something big.  Notice how none of the news media or blogs have mentioned this at all.  It's impossible that they are not aware.
