Galaxy SStill, don't worry much about it. It's still 5G NSA, so it's little more than glorified LTE-A with slightly higher network capacity.

Galaxy SHi Samsung_tbh3o4U, I don't use Telus and I have no 5G phone. But what I've found from internet is...if you have 5G network, you should have a choice to choose 5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM (Auto Connect). Maybe it is not covered in your area even thou Telus said it is covered.
Tried go to another location that is 100% sure has 5G covered. If 5G shows up, that means your neighborhood area has no 5G cover. If 5G not show when you are on a 5G area, then you better check with Telus.

Galaxy Sthanks for the answer. I already have an open ticket with telus's technical service. I will walk downtown to see if 5g shows up.

Galaxy SAs for 5G. It's only Sub-6, so it's not exactly fast. I did some speed tests with my Ultra on Rogers 5G, and the speeds were SLOWER than LTE-A speeds.
