This is very, interesting... So, one minute, you had all your text messages, the next, you open the app and they're gone? That has happened to me once or twice when I first got this phone- It was a glitch. Unless you accidentally cleared all data from the app, or someone got into your phone (kids?) then, the only thing that I can say is to try restarting your phone, as well as clearing messages app cache by going into settings > applications > messages > storage > clear cache. You could also try contacting your service provider and see what they say, but that's not really something to do with cell service. Hope that helps!
