Can we all agree that Samsung is terrible with getting updates? Like they hype everybody up say it's coming very soon, 4 months before it actually comes out, if it actually does. .

My pixel 7 has had Android 15 for like 3mos. Big fail on Samsungs part

Android 15 / One UI V7.0 has been delayed, and last year Google delayed it's release of Android 15.

For the last few years, Samsung has done a great job of releasing the next Android / One UI version...So no, I don't agree with you.

A.I. is most likely the reason why Google delayed it's release of Android 15, and why Samsung has delayed it's release of One UI V7.0.

I got my March 2025 security patch for s23 ultra fairly quick this time around. I would rather Samsung work out all bugs before releasing UI7. No hurry when my phone is working perfectly now. Not one issue, not a single one. Why rock the boat.

Be patient. You will get it soon. Maybe reassuring that Samsung is making sure that only polished and bug free updates are released?

At least you're honest with yourself about being bitter. I think that's THE MOST honest, openly honorable post I've seen on the internet for an entire 2yrs now! You're elevated, i respect that!

OneUI 6.1 ha all the features expected that Android 14, 15, and 16 had already.

I'm first to admit when I overreact, and first to take responsibility when I make a mistake, unlike some people. Two years, thats far too long for anyone! Thanks, ill def consult gpt before I file my laundry list of complaints. I'm done.

Oh, I'm sorry.
I realize some people loathe Ai, but this is accurate information.

OneUI 6.1 was released in 2024, meaning it had features for Android 15 & 16 at or prior to release (respectively)

I posted chatGPT not just for you but also for myself as my S23 in hand updated 2 mths later as I was getting used to OneUI, so I never updated to cause myself confusion. Helps to be accurate with dates.

Unsure what phone you're using, so why have it been two 2yrs to get updates? Possibly, your phone is out of warranty and received its last OS update?!

Regarding the latter you can check gsmarena website as well if you'd like.
