Apparently in new 9.0 one can swipe from bottom to go to home screen.

Since S9 has touch sensitive home button, we already got solution.

However my proposal is, use swipe up from bottom for homescreen and press and hold middle the sensitive button to use as back button!

This is because I'm tired of swiping up navigation bar to press back icon. I know you can swipe right from middle to go back, but it's difficult. So best solution is to make use of google gesture to go home (that we do less frequent than pressing back button).

Edit: I know apps exist on playstore. Doesn't mean we can't ask Samsung for such ideas. Otherwise Samsung should just drop touchwiz and we all start using Nova.

I think a more natural solution would be swipe up on a gesture bar for home, swipe the bar to the right for back and swipe left for recent apps.

I use Nova Launcher and there's multiple options for Swipe & Single / Double Tap as well as a Custom Nav Bar & AIO Gesture Control 🐧 f31c64f6-743c-4851-bce8-e0a759ee2cdc.jpg

I download oneplus gestures from playstore and it works pretty well. You can use all those swipe gestures .Very neat app i should say.
Also there is navigation gestures by xda on playstore which gives you android P like gestures or that pill shaped navigation bar and you can remove the navigation bar so it doesn't distract you when using gestures
Oneplus gestures is paid app (1.99) and navigation gestures is free.

Hey @Google, thanks for your suggestion. You can always lock the navigation bar by double tapping the dot on the navigation bar!
