Annoying black folder backgrounds

I am experiencing an issue with the black background in folders after obtaining the S24. Could someone kindly provide a solution to rectify this problem?

If you press on the circle next to the plus sign, don't you have a choice of back ground colors?

That let's me change the background color before I click it but after I click it it turns black

I dint know if we can change the background of the folder when we click on it. I only know to color the folder. Can you tell me how to change color of background. For me it's coming same as theme but not seeing customizable option
