Anyone else having the annoying Google chat feature s pop up

I keep getting the "faster, richer, higher quality..." Pop up no matter if I accept or decline. Google says it's a result of Using SMS app not recognizing the response. Samsung support, so far, has been useless,blame Google,blame the carrier....

Fingers crossed "appear on top" turned off is working for now.....

So interesting, since setting "appear on top" to off, the pop up no longer shows up... UNLESS I happen to be in the app. I guess that makes sense. Problem is stilll there you just don't notice it.

The "solution" is to turn off a major feature of the app? It doesn't help all the time and then removes allowing Message pop up's on the screen.
This just started for me today.
Very annoying.
Is this Samsung's way of getting us to dump their messaging app for an alternative?

Google probably paid Samsung a **bleep** load of money, but Samsung still can't deliver the products they've sold.. pathetic.

OMG...when I went to check this reply, it made that message pop up again.
Looking for a permanent solution. This 21 may be my last Samsung if they are going to let Google subvert basic apps and usability like this
