I'm trying to confirm if they have removed the option to fully customize the AOD with gallery pictures. Everytime I Google, I get the steps I'm used to with previous versions/devices, but I can't find it on this device or version. Am I missing something?

Hi Willownoodle,

In the latest One UI versions, the option to fully customize the Always On Display with personal Gallery images has been removed. The steps you may find online apply to older versions, but on current devices the customization is limited to presets, clocks, stickers, and a few styles.

If you’d like to see Gallery photo support return, we recommend submitting feedback through the Samsung Members app so the development team can review it for future updates.

Thank you.

Its not true. The function is still there. You just have to access it from Gallery now.

That's what the second screenshot is. That is a picture from my gallery that I'm trying to set as my AOD. The option is no longer there

Its weird. Its therr on both of my One UI 7 and 8 devices. Alternatively, I think you can also use LockStar and ClockFace to set pictures as your AOD.
