Not a fan of AOD anymore, since getting my S24+. Does anybody know if the clock on the AOD screen is still supposed to move around - as it has always done, at least for as long as I can remember. Now, it seems to me that it stays at the top of the screen at exactly the same level as the default clock position on the lock screen and never moves. I'm just concerned about burn in on the display.

Why are you not a fan? Nothing has changed lol. You can turn off the wallpaper on the AOD if that's what you don't like. Yes it moves around to avoid burn in

Thanks for the info. On my device, the clock doesn't move at all ....it stays at the top of the screen. I've had a difficult time even getting a clock on the AOD screen ...for me, the AOD clock seems to mimic the lock screen clock no matter what I do ...and then it stays at exactly the same level as the lock screen clock. Maybe an issue from the transferring of data between phones. I wanted to unistall AOD and re-install, but I don't think you can.

Hi,
I did a factory reset, but on the AOD screen, my clock does not move, so I am concerned about burn in.

I don't know how no one else has commented on this... The exact same thing happens to me on my S24 Ultra, the clock DOES NOT MOVE IN PLACE... and the screen can burn

I know, kind of strange that it hasn't been mentioned. A workaround that one of the members here told me about is under "When to show" use 'tap to show' or 'for new notifications' ...you won't be able to view the clock though, unless you 1) tap or 2) get a notification, but way better than the risk of ruining the screen with burn in.

I've noticed on mu s24 ultra that infact it does move just the movements are way more subtle than before.
