It's high time Samsung added a native App Lock feature in OneUI. I know there's Secure Folder but sometimes we don't need to open apps in a separate space. Sometimes all we need is the basic ability to easily lock some sensitive Apps without having to go into a separate virtual space.
Some other Android phones have this feature, and Apple recently added this feature to iOS 18 and it works very well.

Galaxy SHi mickinetsystems,
That's a great idea! Adding a native app lock feature to OneUI would make a significant improvement for users who want to protect sensitive apps without the need to create separate virtual spaces like Secure Folder.
We will certainly consider your valuable feedback and suggestions and forward to our team for review. Hopefully the feature that your'e expecting might be added in future updates.
Thank you for your feedback.

Its a novel idea to certain, yet most people don't give your their phones to be used often. I've made that test and mistake a few times and got played or burned.
You can PIN the app.
But this doesn't work well with the Samsung Phone app. You can PIN it so only biometrics or device password will allow to use any other app BUT the other person cannot dial a phone number without you unlocking it.
So I second this request.
