Galaxy SIn my Samsung S24 Ultra 512 GB with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the battery reached a temperature of 46 degrees Celsius (about 115 degrees Fahrenheit) for an extended period today during the heat. Is this normal? Could this harm my device? What battery temperature should I not exceed in this Samsung model?
Thanks for answers.

Galaxy SAre you saying that the ambient temperature was high as well?
Yes that seems to be fairly warm for the device, but I don't think that it would cause any damage to your phone.
You could download Samsung's Good Guardian & Thermal Guardian from apk mirror (they aren't available from the Galaxy Store in Canada).
You can set the max Temperature limit using the Thermal Guardian app.
Have a look at the link below as well.

EEven deliberately stressing my S23 Ultra by running Geekbench and charging, my device only reaches 36° C.

Galaxy SHi michalk0072,
All Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues.
If you use your phone heavily while charging, it may overheat. Ensure the charger and cable are in good condition, and avoid using the phone while charging.
Please use the link given above by RedDogRabbit to help keep your devices at their normal operating temperature.
If the issue is still unresolved, kindly send an error report using Samsung Members app.
Click on Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).
Thank you RedDogRabbit.
