Blocking phone numbers by ,area code ,only ,instaed of a whole number

Good day , i wish to gindcacwayvof blocking multiple phone numbers from the same area code. I was able to do this om my S7Edge,but not my present phone ( S20 ).

This *MIGHT* work for you. 

Open the Dialer > Settings > Block Numbers & enter JUST the area code.

For example, I just put in "123" as a Blocked Number. In theory if "123" is the area code, it should be blocked?

Try it & let me know if it works.

Unfortunately Samsung removed some blocking options, ie: Numbers not in my Contacts.

The only other options are:

  • Contact your Carrier and ask them if they can block calls from area code ***. 
  • Download a 3rd party call blocking app, which may or may not be effective.
