Calendar apps duplicating multiple calendars on phone only

Android 14 update duplicated all Microsoft related calendars.

After the One UI 6.0, my Samsung calendar app shows 21 duplicate "Canada Holidays Calendars" under my Hotmail account. My device is a Galaxy S23 Ultra. 

Under my secondary Outlook email, there are 7 calendars called "Calendar Calendar" and 8 additional "Canada Holidays Calendars". 

Then lastly, under my work email which is an Exchange 365 account, I have 13 "Canada Holidays Calendars". 

I've logged into Outlook on my desktop and went to Calendars to see if they were showing up there (to delete them) and they are not there. Which means they are likely only showing up on the phone itself. I've also logged into my Google account on my PC and no duplicates are shown there either. 

Any suggestions on how to get rid of these? Deleting the calendar cache and data does nothing. And to make it worse, more duplicates seem to get added month after month. 

UPDATE #1:

More than a year after creating this post, this issue still exists. At the time of writing this, I had 21 "Canada Holiday Calendars". I now counted 41. 

Despite numerous phone updates the problem is unresolved. I'm on the fence about upgrading to the S25 Ultra as part of my hopes that moving to a new device will eliminate this problem. The other part of me feels like "Why would I want to get another Samsung phone that may have the same unresolved problem again"? 

The issue isn't on Microsoft's side. The problem is somewhere on Samsung's.

Update #2:

After more than a year of no solution or resolution I begrudgingly upgraded to the S25 Ultra. As suspected, the issue no longer exists. Clearly it was a bug introduced from a major update. Not sure if a hard reset would have resolved it, but happy to no longer be dealing with it. 

Update #3: 

3 weeks into owning the S25 Ultra I've noticed my calendars are beginning to duplicate AGAIN. So it's clearly not a software bug from a phone update. Because it's already occurring on a new phone that I just bought 3 - 4 weeks ago. This is pathetic.. I reached out to Samsung tech support about this and they remotely connected to my phone. They were unable to fix the problem as well. 

This is their advice:

Please raise an error report through Samsung Members application so that our developers team will review the case and get back with an update via email.

1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and Tap Error reports.

2. Tap OK on agreement popup for sending system log data.

3. Select Symptom category.

4. Describe problem in detail and SEND.

I have exactly the same problem. It also presents multiple entries for my wife's calendar as well strangely. I haven't found a way to permanently solve the issue and can only get rid of the calendars by removing my accounts and re-adding them again. This isn't a proper fix though and only gives temporary respite from the problem.

It's interesting that there's no solution for this. And I've noticed the problem is getting progressively worse. Meaning, overtime more and more duplicates are appearing.

I agree.  I have 10-15 copies of multiple calendars.  And even though I uncheck them so they don't show up on my calendar, the settings  change on their own.

I have the same issue. Many appointments duplicated or triplicated in my Samsung Calendar. I really like the Samsung Calendar (better than Outlook for Android or Google). My Outlook 365 Calendar on my desktop is fine. When I deleted a triplicated calendar appointment on my phone (there were still 2 left on the phone) it deleted the Outlook appointment on my desktop. 

Has anyone deleted their calendar data and had success with that? I searched all other apps with calendar permissions to see if there was anything new.  I did not see anything out of the ordinary. 

I noticed it when I was driving to an appointment. I sync my calendar with my Tesla and it loads my calendar appointment location to the navigation. I noticed it was navigating me to the wrong place. I changed the appointment location in my Outlook calendar and my phone (and car) now had both appointments (actually 3, 2 with the old location and 1 with the new).

I am eager to see if anyone finds a solution.

Same problem here. Wish Samsung would fix this because I like their calendar app much better than Outlook or Gmail

I have the same problem and it's getting worse. I had already turned off the duplicates and they came back multiple times. Very annoying!

Same problem here in the UK. It's really frustrating.

I've got Outlook accounts, Hotmail accounts and Corporate Office365 work accounts and they all exhibit the same type of issues on my Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 with the duplicating of the Calendars. It's completely random though in its application. Some days my O365 work account can show multiple "Calendar Calendars" in the list. Another day it can my Outlook account but showing multiple Birthdays Calendars in the list.

Currently I've got 124 copies of Birthday Calenders showing in the list against my Hotmail account which surely must be some sort of record 🤣

Please can someone from Samsung pick this up and run with it. It's been going on for far too long now.

Brutal. I have 37 Canada Holiday Calendars. I just checked now and 6 of them were newly added.

I wish we had an option to tap and hold to delete a calendar. I honestly don't see this ever getting resolved. I'm praying when I upgrade to the S25 Ultra this will be gone.
