My S9 has been automatically rejecting calls for a couple of months now. Even from people who are in my contact list, and I haven't blocked them. I do not have the "block unknown/hidden numbers" on. I have clients who used to be able to call me and my phone would ring, but now it just goes to voice-mail and never rings. Please help :)
Hi henglish76, you may also try checking with your carrier if it is a SIM card-related issue. You can try inserting your SIM card in a different device, and check if the incoming calls still get rejected. Alternatively, you can try checking for any settings that might interfere with incoming calls, such as Do Not Disturb, Bixby Routines, and Caller ID and spam protection in your Phone app.
Ok thank you. It doesn't do this to all callers. Just certain ones. I will give them a call. StraightTalk is my service provider. They are a cheaper, secondary company. So it can be difficult to get good customer service with them lol. I've had this phone for 4 years and this has only recently become an issue...
As a suggestion, contact your cellular service provider to ensure your SIM card is valid and if the number of rings before voicemail is high enough to allow inbound calls to ring 1st before doing so.
