You COULD try a couple of things, before visiting a Samsung Service Centre.. but if it's a hardware issue, it's not likely to help.

You could:

  1. Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache.. see if that works?
  2. Backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.. see if fixes the issue?

Instructions on how Wipe Cache & Factory Reset:

Wipe Cache

1) Turn off the device.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.

3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.

4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".

5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.

6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

Factory Reset

⚠️⚠️ BEFORE you Factory Reset, Disable 2-Step Verification ⚠️⚠️

If you forget, it's not the end of the world, you can normally use your device's phone number to verify your identity via text.

Repeat the above steps, but instead of Scrolling down to Wipe Cache, Scroll down to Wipe Data Factory Reset.

After a Factory Reset, your device will be as it was when you first received it.

You will need to start at the Welcome Screen.

⚠️You will need to know your Passwords

If you have 2-Step verification for your Google Account turned ON, when you Factory Reset, you'll need to verify that it is you who is logging into your Google Account.

It's not a problem if you know your Google Password / PIN or Pattern after you Factory Reset, as it is part of Factory Reset Protection.
