I have an S20FE and S23FE. I just got an S24FE but the camera output looks so poor in comparison to the S20 & S23. Am I missing something?

Try restarting, clearing Camera app data, checking settings (resolution, HDR), updating software, and contacting Samsung if the issue persists.

Hi Shaulz,

Sorry to hear this from you. To address the camera issue on your S24 FE, please try the below troubleshooting steps.

Restart your phone: This simple step can sometimes resolve minor glitches or software-related issues.

Clear Camera app data: Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage. Tap Clear Cache and then Clear Data (this will reset any custom settings in the Camera app, but your photos will remain unaffected).

Check camera settings: Open the Camera app and ensure that you are using the correct resolution (e.g., 12MP or 50MP for sharper images).

Verify that HDR is enabled for better dynamic range in photos, especially in high-contrast lighting conditions.

If the issue persists, as a last resort, you can try a factory reset on the S24 FE. But make sure to back up your data first, as this will erase everything on the device.
