can't open links in apps

I can't open links in apps I've tried opening them in my emails and tried opening them in my text messages whether it be for a link to YouTube or to an etransfer and they just won't open, they used to but not sure what happened. I have gone to settings and then apps and default apps and it says that "open links in apps" is on but yeah it doesn't. Any help would be great

I'll give it a shot but links in my text messages and my Gmail aren't working. they used to but just stopped maybe from update 🤷‍♂️

well I was on with a tech guy and basically came to the idea that doing a hard reset on phone was only option to get things to function properly but without access to a pc atm thats just not an option... any other suggestions to try?

Did you try checking in safe mode? If your issue got resolved, then please share the resolution with us and help others with the same issue.

the issue literally just ended up fixing its self... no updates happened just all of a sudden it started working normally again
