I don't know when this started. Maybe the last update? But it's really annoying. Cleared the cache and info in the youtube app. Unistalled, reinstalled. Nothing works.

Please try the below settings and get back to us.
Open Settings >> Apps >> Tap three dots in the top right corner>>Select default apps>> Default app select>> Select Youtube app.

Hi, thanks for the response. Unfortunately Youtube is not an option for me under 'Select Default Apps', but is available under Apps >> Youtube >> Set as default, which it is set as default there.
