Customization of do not disturb (dnd) settings per notification channels disappeared under one UI 5. Under one UI 4.1, I could customize notification channels regarding do not disturb. Settings, apps, app name, notifications, notification categories and click on a category. At the bottom there is an option to ignore dnd . This is missing under one UI 5.0. has it moved? Seems regressive to remove customization. Can this feature be brought back?
The lack of whitelisting notification categories from DND is in fact a regression. I suspect that removing the feature is intentional, just as notification categories being disabled by default is. Coming from OxygenOS, which is extremely customizable, all this was a bad surprise to me. Unfortunately, Samsung couldn't care less about user feedback.
