S23 Ultra fully updated:
From within Messenger, I can share photos from Gallery to my contacts.
However, if I try to share photos directly from Gallery, a permissions warning shows about enabling Camera Roll permissions (image below) ... but there is no specific Camera Roll setting. (This used to work until recently). Any ideas how to fix this?

I just did the "pictures and videos" to "not allowed" then switched back to "allow all the time"

Thanks for sharing, worked perfectly

I'm in the same situation.  Cannot find camera roll.  This is an update problem.  When can we have it resolved?

Same issue with my A54, disable permission then enable again when trying to share works,

On my S23+ I had to exit all apps, go to settings and disable camera & photo settings. Restart phone.

Reset camera & photo back to enabled. Just enabling , backing out then going back in and enabling again did not fix the problem.

I've got the same issue. There is no camera roll option. The camera permission is on. I tried toggling it off and back on to no avail. I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any tips?

some have said you need to restart after toggling off and than toggling back on after restart. I don't recall exactly the order I did things in but it worked.
