Bonjour
Hello
I have installed two eSIM cards on my Galaxy S23 Ultra and I would like to buy a new Galaxy without losing my two eSIM cards. Could you tell me how to transfer my two eSIM cards to my new phone?

To transfer an eSIM to a Samsung Galaxy device, you can use the eSIM Instant Transfer feature:

On the new device, go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM
Tap Transfer SIM from another device
On the old device, tap Transfer when the SIM transfer popup appears
Enter the 6-digit verification code from the new device on the old device
On the new device, select a phone number from the list and tap Transfer On the old device, tap Transfer again
Tap Done on the old device

The eSIM will be automatically downloaded and activated on the new device.

Thanks for your reply!
But when I tried it on my S23 Ultra, I couldn't find the option, knowing that I have One UI 6.1 and it's a Canadian model... it's normal.

It only shows Scan QR code or Search eSIMs in that menu

Hi Aminoster,

If the eSIM Instant Transfer isn't available on your device, here are a few alternatives:

Please contact Your Carrier. Most carriers allow eSIMs to be transferred or reissued. Simply: Contact your carrier's customer service or visit their app/website. Request a new eSIM QR code for your new device. Use the QR code to activate the eSIM on your new Galaxy phone: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM > Scan QR code.

Re-activate eSIM via Your Carrier’s App.  Some carriers provide an option to manage eSIMs through their mobile app. Check if your carrier’s app allows you to deactivate the old eSIM and set it up on the new device.

Before proceeding, ensure your current eSIMs are backed up or that your carrier can quickly reissue them, as deactivating or transferring an eSIM might render the original one unusable.

Thank you.

Hi Helenna,

Thank you for the information. However, I would like to inform you that I am currently in a different country from my carrier. This may affect my ability to contact them directly or use their app for reissuing the eSIM.

Could you please advise on any alternative solutions or support options available for my situation?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
