Custom Text Notification

I used to have custom text notification sounds for different people in my S8 so I would know who was texting me before I looked at my phone. Since the update I can't choose specific sounds for different contacts except for their ringtone. I have bad hearing so that custom feature was important to me. Is there a way I can fix/change that?

@Muppets Use Google or Evolve Messaging (I use Evolve) and I'm sure that there's others - But it's currently not possible with Samsung Messaging 🐧

yes would be nice . also lost notification sounds and all ring tones for all mwssages since latest update . please fix this . this is the 3rd time it has happened to my phone. seriously thinking of switching to i phone if samsung cant fix this problem .
