I have the Google Keyboard (GBoard) set as my default Keyboard but at least twice a day it will change back to Samsung Keyboard. There's no specific app(s) it does this with, it's just random. I have Galaxy S22 running Android 12, system is up to date. Gboard is also up to date. Cleared cache for both keyboards and cleared my cache partition as well.....

Same problem.

Galaxy S

I use SwiftKey - that problem happened to me once, and it was when SAMSUNG keyboard updated through the Galaxy Store - so I would start there, check when it happens if the keyboard updated, and then maybe turn off automatic updates by the Galaxy store.

Just a thought.

I am having the same problem in Galaxy S10 with Android 11. When I google this, I can find many posts regarding this problem since 7 years ago. Samsung haven't done anything about it. Samsung just doesn't want you to change the default keyboard.
