Galaxy Shi, i bought 2 S24 ultra from Samsung Canada website at pre-launch. After setting them up in exactly same way with all settings same, even wallpaper and everything, one S24 Ultra shows 25% brightness on auto settings, while the other shows 21% brightness on auto settings.
I remember I had same issues with my 2 Galaxy Note 10 Plus when I bought them brand new in 2019. one of the Note 10 Plus use to show less dark screen during dark mode or when viewing something dark, the other Note 10 Plus use to show perfect dark black colors. they both also vary between showing different levels of brightness under exact same lightning conditions with exactly same settings. When I upgraded to 2 Z Flip 3 5Gs, they both had same problem, different display behaviour in term of lightning under exactly same settings and conditions.
For S24 Ultras, I have checked them both together in almost every lightning condition, like bright outdoors, evening indoors, nighttime, under room light, near table lamp, near a candle, under light pole outside on the street, near a store like Walmart or food basics, during early morning time when sun coming up.
One S24 Ultra always remains a little brighter, say like around 5% and the other remains always little darker like around 5%. Is it normal? like I know not all displays are equal even if they are made in a single batch but does anyone else noticed or experienced this thing?

Galaxy SI wouldn't be totally surprised to see some variation. You could always try the Phone Diagnostics on the Samsung Members app and check the Sensors.. although I'm not sure if the ambient light sensor is tested?

Galaxy Syes, side by side difference is very minimum like I mentioned its around 5% max, but I do notice it when side by side, I was thinking may be display have some problems but then I remembered my past 4 years of experience. may be its the nature of technology.

Galaxy SIirc - Adaptive brightness "learns" from manual brightness adjustments made while in adaptive mode, so this behavior would be expected
