Do you know if Galaxy S6 goes above android 7 without a jailbreak?

I was wondering if Samsung galaxy S6 goes above android 7. Id like some certain apps that require at least android 8 and my phone seemingly won't update.

I would flash a custom rom since you have an older phone. Goo over to www.xda.com and learn about all that fun stuff.

Important notes make sure you flash the right things to your model or you'll bricked your phone. First you'll need to root than flash custom recovery than rom. Note Samsung pay nor Samsung health will work after this.
