My incoming emails all used to come thru in dark print, and change to light print after I read them.
Now they come thru in light print, making it somewhat hard to notice unread emails.
How do I get the emails back to coming in dark, and changing to light once I read them?

What device do you have?

Which email app do you use, Gmail, Samsung's?

Do you have any themes installed?

Dark Mode?

I have a Galaxy S23, I use Yahoo email (although Gmail does come in dark and goes light when I read it), and I don't have Dark Mode installed (I don't think).

Go to Settings > Display and you can check there. But I'm not 100% sure if that's the cause of your issue?

What am I looking for there. Light or Dark mode? I currently have the setting in Light mode.

If it's currently set to Light Mode, you can try Dark Mode.

Also are you using a Yahoo Email App, or through a Browser? If it's through an app, does it have a Light or Dark mode option?

My Bad !! ... I looked under the emails 'App Details', and it shows "Samsung Email".
I tried Dark Mode, and it didn't help.

I don't use Samsung's email app, but is there a setting that Marks all emails as "read", if there is, that would explain why all your emails are light?

There's a small (very small) black round dot in front of the email when it comes in. Once I read the email, the dot goes away. This just started happening a few days ago (rather than dark lettering coming in, changing to light once read). Maybe it's just a change Samsung has made. GMAIL remains dark lettering on incoming emails, changing to light lettering when read.

Maybe use Gmail, that's what I use.
