enable FM RADIO for galaxy s7

i am a new s7 user and look for the fm radio function. it should provide the same for Canadian users as well so that we don't have to pay expensive data to listen stream radio.

These fm radio features appear to be locked on the carrier side, they would need to okay it and verizon seems to be the only carrier in US who's enabled it for some reason or another

I agree too. It's the carriers that are responsible. I don't think they should be able. In an emergency without data... everyone having an FM radio would be great.

This feature is not​ available in unlocked phones also, means not available in Canada

I don't think so it's carrier related,I use to have Nokia phones and by default I was able to use fm radio but look like Samsung block FM transmitter In Canada might be part of CRTC or some government regulatory agencies.

Dont think it is available in canada, or could be carrier based. I use TuneIn Radio

I had an Asus cell. Bad idea, but the FM was enabled... on Rogers network
