Recently lost my phone and tried to use find my mobile. Had no luck with the service. I was out of province when this happened, was wondering if anyone knew if this would be an issue for it not to work? I have a Samsung watch and even though it was on my wrist, the service couldn't find it. When I returned home and set up an old phone, the service worked for both my watch and my old phone. My friend, who is from my hometown, tried to locate my products while I was away, but it still didn't work. He was able to find his own products as a test.
I hope this isn't an issue, if you are out of province, this service won't work.. if it did, I probably could have found my phone.... it shouldn't matter where you are currently located when you lose a product...
Yes I have been on this same carrier for years. Like I said, it works when I am back home but once out of province it wouldn't find anything. Just hoping it isn't a issue with Find my Mobile. You should be able to locate it no matter where you are.
