For Samsung's next phone, please incorporate the superior ultrasonic 3D Max fingerprint scanner. This will not only enhance speed and accuracy but also ensure compatibility with tempered glass screen protectors. While the ultrasonic 3D Gen 2 is adequate, it remains unreliable, even without a screen protector, requiring firm pressure instead of a light tap for unlocking you still need 0.5㎧ press before it scans. The 3D Max would enable instantaneous unlocking and improved tempered glass compatibility. Furthermore, I recommend including an anti-glare, fingerprint-resistant tempered glass screen protector, as current protectors compromise the 3D fingerprint scanner's performance, essentially converting it to an optical scanner. Even without a screen protector, the current technology is not optimal. Although it's the industry's most advanced fingerprint scanner, it hasn't been updated since the S21 series. I anticipated that the S24 or S25 series would be ideal for integrating the enhanced fingerprint technology. Therefore, please implement the ultrasonic 3D Max in the next generation of devices.

Hi qwer123,

That’s a great suggestion! The ultrasonic 3D Max fingerprint scanner would significantly improve speed, accuracy, and screen protector compatibility.

Your feedback regarding the firm pressure required for the current 3D Gen 2 sensor is valuable, as a more responsive sensor would enhance the overall user experience. Additionally, the idea of including an anti-glare, fingerprint-resistant tempered glass protector optimized for ultrasonic sensors would be a fantastic addition, ensuring users don’t have to compromise on security or display clarity.

We'll pass this feedback along to the development team for consideration in future Galaxy devices.

Thanks for sharing your insights!
