(s22 Ultra) There should be a way to remove the fingerprint icon from lock screen. There's a option in the fingerprint menu but when u change it from the 3 different modes it doesn't actually change it in real, the option is there but there is no effect when used. So guessing it's a bug? This is for the s22 Ultra.

Don't think that it's a bug, just some settings have been moved around a bit.

Should be > Settings > Biometrics & Security > Finger Prints > Show Icon When Screen is OFF... Toggle the setting you want.

You might have to Reboot for the changes to take effect.

Tried this, it might be because of the theme I'm using, but even then it should still work, I've used the setting and the icon still shows up on the always on display and on the lock screen display. It's not a big problem but it would be nice to fix. Thanks for the feedback.

Try with the Default Samsung Theme applied, & you should have the answer as to whether or not it's the Theme.

Be sure to Reboot after you revert to the Default Samsung Theme.

There are settings to remove it from the always on display or when screen is off.

There's no such option to remove it from the LOCK screen.

It's there to show the scanner placement to unlock the phone.

As per the author's original post, they want to remove it from the lockscreen.

Can you provide me link for the patch?

Samsung's Moderator didn't post the answer correctly. It's not a "patch", it's in the Settings on your device.

Go to Settings & Search for "Finger Print Unlock"
