For 5 days now my pre-order trade-ins are showing as $0. When will this be fixed?

As the title says. Whenever I try to do a pre-order for a Samsung S24 Ultra it changes my trade-in to $0 in the cart. I have tried multiple phones and even had 2 CSR's create my cart for me and they have the same problem as well.

I need an update on this.

The reason that it is showing your trade in as $0 is because you are getting the trade in value of your phone - lets say $500 off immediately from the starting price of your new phone so this makes the value of your trade in as $0 that you can expect to be getting for the device later when you send it in as a trade

That is incorrect. On day 1 and day 2 it showed a trade-in value of $600 and reduce the price of the new phone in my cart from $1300 to $700 after trade-in. However due to Samsung site issues, check-out wasnt possible. Now however it shows trade-in value is $0 and the price of the phone remains $1300.

CSR has also stated this seems to be an issue for them when they create the order.

If the beginning price of your new phone does not come down by the $600 then there definately is a problem

This should say $600 not $0 as it did on the first 2 days of launch.

Are you located in the US?
By the postal code it looks like it.
This is Canada members site and you should be asking on US site if you're located in the US

I would never do a trade with Samsung, but I seem to recall something last year when the S23 series was available for pre-order, and the value of the trade showed zero for some reason, at some point in the process? I THINK that it had something to do with the traded in device not being received & valued yet?

I could be totally wrong, but I think that there was something weird in the process?

I didn't have any issue when last year I upgraded to s23u with trade-in my Note 10. Yes, I got trade-in value, but during checkout I paid the full price of S23U, then I received a mail-in box for me to mail out my Note 10, about a week later I got refund.
Actually, it's the same procedure for trade-in Apple's products with Apple.
