You have to manually allow the permissions..

It's a You problem.

FYI, I don't use G-Board, but I installed it just to show you.

Permissions are manually set as always, but the app won't auto update even if app store settings say over any network, it's always asking wifi for this app, notifications I can't even activate.
I removed re installed the app once again. Each time it's due for a update it dose this. It's persistent, i have gone through everything i can think of, any other way of getting it to accept notifications, it's refusing to turn on.

After having to fight with this blasted phone to get it to give me what i want, i am so fed up, issues upin issues all related to Google bassed AP's, those who argue not ever having issues let's see what you have in solutions because the issues return every single update, the app refusing to update or even use the given auto update permission, I don't have it set for wifi, it's set for mobile data, it keeps asking wifi to update, *** this ***, if Google can't fix it's app's to work like it should then to hell with them, i am fed up,
They always have issues refusing to update. All the other app's that don't use Google services work fine.

Hi pirattemobille,

We are sorry to hear this issue from you and and we completely understand how frustrating this situation is.

It sounds like this issue is specifically affecting apps that rely on Google Play Services. While your auto-update settings are correctly set to mobile data, the Play Store may still occasionally override that preference due to app-specific or Play Store version-related bugs. Please try the following steps and check for the issue:

Clear Google Play Store Cache & Data: Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Storage > Clear Cache & Clear Data

Check unrestricted data usage: Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Mobile data > Turn on “Allow data usage while Data saver is on”

Force Stop and Relaunch: Force stop the Play Store and relaunch it. Then retry the update.

You can try manually updating Gboard through the Play Store after doing the above or use Samsung’s Galaxy Store or Samsung Keyboard as a stable alternative if Gboard continues misbehaving.

Hope this helps!

Play store is set for mobile data not wifi, as i said, only Google apps are giving me problems, i am fed up with there i never have a problem preacher's that don't say the truth, Google has issues. It's always asking for wifi for g board, i can't even set for notifications there off & won't turn on, stop asking to reboot or remove & re install apps, I want Samsung to pres Google for answers & fixes, they don't listen to users, but they will listen to Samsung if Samsung presses the issues
