Hey Samsung fam,

 

Just upgraded to a Galaxy S10+.

 

Trying to search for goodlock on the Galaxy app store, however when I click on the search bar and begin typing none of my text shows up in the search bar.

 

After 10 seconds or so the app crashes.

I've tried clearing my app data and cache which did not work.

 

Anyone else experience this? What was your solution aside from a factory reset?

It's hard to believe this app is not fully functional straight out of the box.

Thanks for the response!

 

Unfortunately I've done all of the above - cleared cache and data + a reboot, also booted into recovery mode and wiped cache :(

 

The phone is quite new so I'm not even confident a full factory reboot will do anything

Fortunately I was able to achieve what I wanted, I managed to find a link to goodlock on google, copied it into my browser and it took me to the goodlock app download within the galaxy app store.

 

It's an unnecessary workaround in my opinion, but my absolute last resort was a factory reset.

 

I could go to the extreme and exchange it for a brand new device lol
