Charger connection on my Galaxy s8

Lately when I plug in my device I get a notification saying ''check charger connection'' or "cable charging". I'm not sure why, I have the charger that came with my device. Any way I can fix this?

Try a new cord, try a new charger block, try a new power bar if plugged into 1. it's 1 of those 3, or its you phone 🤷‍♂️

it most likely your cord. But you can also check your charging port of your phone. there might be some lint build up.
