I recently updated my S10+ to android 12 and since then my Themes app as well as the Galaxy store have been unresponsive. They will both still open but you cannot navigate though the app. They will just go to a loading screen endlessly. Is anyone else having this issue or have any solutions?

Thanks In Advance!

I'd start by verifying that both are updated to the latest version. If there are both still unresponsive, I'd go to Settings > Search for each of them & then Clear Cache & Data for both. Reboot.

If you still have issues, you could Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache from there.

The issue with the apps should be resolved by my first suggestion. If not then try the 2nd suggestion.

I did both suggestions and the problem is persisting. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks

After Clearing Cache & Data for those apps, you should have been able to use them, But try Booting into Safe Mode & see if you are able to use those two apps, but if you still can't then Backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.

Even in safe mode both of the apps just show endless loading so i will have to try the backup and factory reset when i have more time. Thanks for your help.

The problem seems to be that the S10 does not support the Android 12 platform. I suggest you to not update to the Android 12. You can downgrade your phone to the latest build on Android 11 and the phone should be fine.

To do this:

Connect your phone to your PC, if it is not already connected
In the Android Settings click on About phone
You should see a notification about Android 11
Disconnect the tablet, shutdown Windows 11
Repeat again please, repeat the last if the smartphone says disconnects
Click on the Install update option
Install the latest build of Android 11

After this the problem you mentioned above should go away, and you should be able to use the Galaxy Store again.

P.S. If you can't wait for a new phone or you want to update your phone now you can update your phone to Android 11 from the S10 factory image.
If you don't have a compatible USB cable, you can update your phone from your phone using the Recovery Mode on your phone.

If you press and hold the Volume Down, Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time, you'll see an option that says Factory Reset or Back to factory settings. Press the Home key to open the navigation drawer, and press the Navigation button to highlight the Settings option. Press the Volume Up button to open the setting and then use the Volume Down button to highlight the About phone option. Press the Power button to open the About phone menu and select the option to open recovery mode. Once you enter the recovery mode press and hold the Power button until you see the Android System Recovery option. The option may be titled as Recovery mode or Recovery Menu. Select the option and the Phone screen will appear. From here follow the steps as mentioned before.

What??? lol 😂

Assuming that there's no Bootloader version change, where precisely is the Android 11 Firmware coming from in your "instructions"?? 🙄

@Ianin what makes you think the S10 doesn't support Android 12 platform.😂

I have seen "NO" problems running Android 12 on my S10 and I have been running it since the minute it was offered as a download.

What you said doesn't make sense...

And I have the s10 plus here and I haven't updated to android 12.
Still endless loading on samsung members.

(newly formatted phone and updated to android 11 with latest security patch before android 12)
