One of the few things I like about Google Photos is the ability to add captions.

For context, I am a bit of a collector. (Coins and Music Albums)

So when I take a picture of these collectables, I use Google Lens to research the item and copy information into the captions/notes section in Google Photos so I have future reference for details like descriptions and values.

By my research, this is something which does not currently exist in Samsung Gallery, so I am asking if this could be considered for future updates to the app.

While, the filenname can be used, it is limited and I just think the ability to add notes and caption about a picture would be a welcoming update for many.

Thanks

Hi Tao77,

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback and explaining how you use captions to organize your collectibles. We recognize that relying on filenames alone can feel limiting, and your suggestion highlights a meaningful way to improve photo organization.

We will share your request with our product team for consideration in future updates. Along with this, we’ll also emphasize the importance of providing more detailed information options within the app, so users can annotate and personalize their collections more effectively.

Your feedback is invaluable, and we truly appreciate the time you took to explain how this feature would enhance your experience.
