Dear Samsung,
@SamsungMobile please review your business partnership with Google. I've chosen your devices and OS UI after 12yrs of waiting for advancement and refinement to finally leave Apple's iOS and iPhone platform.
I've chosen your applications, either because of the clean UI layout (Samsung Messages), features (Secure Folder, Samsung Messages, Samsung Notes, Samsung Internet), orfor security and privacy (Samsung Contacts, Samsung Wallet, Samsung Pass, Samsung Store, Samsung My Files), even if some don't work well and need some work (Samsung Email, Bixby).
Still choose your apps that need serious work and refinement (Samsung Email, Bixby) over Google because they work well (exception being Bixby) andexclusively for Privacy!
Last week, call it being unfaithful or just curiosity, switched to using Google Gemini as my assistant. I did NOT do this blindly, as it's own application I tested without issues. I carefully read over EVER single feature and proposed change and even revisited settings in the Google App (which I wish I could fully disable without loosing circle to search) and Google settings within my Galaxy S23 phone.
Google Gemini currently ONLY works through their dawned Google Services and their own Applications which is NOT a benefit to me. Within 76hrs of enabling Gemini services I found out just how untrustworthy and deceitful Google can be! While being very upset over your Darwinism product warranty practices and rules, on the phone with Samsung Tech Support, I was sent a text message with a generic email address so that I could upload details of my Galaxy Bus2 Pro purchase with Amazon pleading for warranty help (I'll update that thread today) and when I selected the link I noticed something odd.
I already had Google Messages disabled!
(I HATE that hot garbage turd of an app).
During composing the Email, the UI was different never seen it before. It was more of a popupor quick app? Yeah turnaround out thateventhoughmy preference in BOTH Gemini and Google for email is selected to nothing Gemini re-enabled it without a prompt whatsoever with no warning to me.
I've immediately switched back to Bixby and I'm very likely to disable Google Assistant and Gemini Assistant on my beloved Galaxy S23!
So please review your partnership with Google ans push backing such Google API pushes with your competitors across the globe to enforce Google doesn't make such silent changes that affect end user choice and your UI and apps that customers love.
Oh yeah, and Samsung Email seriously needs to be updated. Snoozing flagged emails doesn't really do anything at all. Also it needs a rules function that can sync to the email provider service of the email account associated. And a 1 touch button to empty recycle bin would be nice. Lastly, using your own Gaussian LLM/AI on device, have it learn after 3-5 actions within email that if I move certain emails to a folder, that it learns Sender + ttile + body keywords, and start moving emails automatically to that folder of same criteria and sync please 🙏🏾 this would be better that Rules.
Thanks.

I don't think you understood what I was taking about.
