Because there's obviously an issue with Samsung's Messaging app.

Why would you switch back to it, especially since there hasn't been any updates for it.

It doesn't seem very likely that Samsung is interested in fixing Samsung Messages any time soon, if ever, based on what Samsung's Moderators have been instructed to advise people regarding Samsung's Messaging app.

Hi Beeee89, we are sorry for the experience you had. We recommend you to set Google messages as Default messaging app.

Samsung has joined with Google on a common messaging client as default messaging app.

I'm having the same problem cause that messaging app was default on a previous phone and when I transfered info to this phone I preferred the options in the old txt platform. Ugh this is very upsetting

I have the same problem since a couple of days. I contacted Samsung support and they told me to use Google Message as default app. Unbelievable!
