how do I share messages and pics on maps

I'm not sure, but I think that it's only businesses that can use messages on Google Maps. ie: you find a business on Google Maps, and I think that you can send the business a message.

Hi MissDonoghie, If your'e trying to send a message within map it is not possible.

But you can communicate directly with businesses through their Business Profiles on Google Maps.

On your phone, open the Google Maps app. Tap Updates >> Chat >> and then Business.

Please note that for the "Chat" button to show up on a Business Profile, the business must have messaging turned on.
