This is probably the easiest way to hide file and folder. This trick do not require any apps all you need is My files(samsungs stock file explorer)

All you have to do is add period "." in front of the folder that you wish to hide. So for eg. If i wish to hide a folder called private all I have to do is name that folder ".private" this will hide that folder and all its content. So if you have photos in that folder, those photos won't show up on Samsung gallery app.
If you wish to access that hidden folder all to have to do is, Go to My Files setting and turn on show hidden folders. And turn it off when to hide it again. This how I hide my evidence of "what you did last night" from parents.

Secure folder is still the best way to keep your file secured, this is just a casual folder hiding feature where users don't want their friends and family to stumble upon those embarrassing moments.

Actually I used to hide about me and my Gf. Now they know about her so no problem anymore. Sometimes I do have some awkward pics that I don't want them to see and they are not going to stumble upon those pics.
