When I turn on hotspot from S23 Ultra, the hotspot icon appears and devices can see it but some can't log at all and others(like the other phone S21 ultra) try to log and say logging on without internet connection, although on the s23 ultra there is internet through LTE+
Nothing changed, all settings are the same, but that happened after the upgrade to android 14 one UI6
Any fix?

Hi Phil-mik, we are sorry to hear that you are facing issues with your mobile hotspot after upgrading to One UI 6. Thank you for RedDogRabbit for the solution. We will keep monitoring this issue and see if this happens to multiple users as well, and if it does, we will communicate this to the appropriate team.

I have the same problem and I do not have the disconnect pro app.

Found the solution.
First by reseting the phone to factory settings, that solved the issue...
The started to install my apps again but suddenly it happened again after some installations.... So I had to reset the phone and apparently it is because of one app.... I will keep an eye and try it between all major installations until I know what app is the cause

For what it is worth, I have the same(?) issue after upgrading my Galaxy Xcover6 Pro to OneUI 6. Tethered computers can still connect to IP addresses directly (impractical), and using a VPN (on the computer) is a workaround. I am not willing to do a full reset over this yet, especially if the results are uncertain as indicated in this thread.

I figured it was the app called disconnect pro. It stops the ads but when it's active it have this effect... When I disable it, hotspot works better.

omg i can't believe it was disconnect pro causing this issue, i was pulling my hair out why tethering was working my empty s9 and pixel 1 and not on my s23. What do i whitelist in disconnect pro to avoid this? will it ever get updated :(

Ooh, interesting find, I use Disconnect Pro as well. I will have to test this!

Samsung Galaxy S23 here on One UI6/Android 14.  Clients can not resolve DNS when connected to my S23 hotspot.  If I manually set the client to google DNS, it works.

EDIT: Disabling Disconnect Pro resolves the issue and allows DNS to work on my hotspot.

I also use Disconnect Pro, but when I disabled it, that didn't resolve my issue.
