How to clear each contacts history?

I have searched extensively and all I can find is how to clear recent call logs. I still see a history when I bring up an individual contact. How does one clear these?

Im not sure if this is what your looking for but if you go to your phone app and click on recents > click on a contact > click on "i" > click on the 3 dots bottom right where it says more > it brings up the option to delete calls from history for that individual contact. It gives you the choice to delete all or individual ones from that contact.

You can also go into your contacts, choose a contact and click on history, click on a call log and it will bring up the delete button top right.

Thanks for your quick reply, I have already cleared my recent call list so I do not have any contacts in my recents to select, however if I go directly into my contact app and click a contact, there is a history there for each contact that I am unable to delete. I'm just using the contact app that comes with the Samsung phones.

When you click on history from one of your contacts, just click on any call log that you see, it should bring up the delete button (bin) top right. It will give you the option to delete all or individual history.

You clicked on one in the history and nothing happens ? If not it must only work when there's a call history.

When I clicked on one in the history it brought up the related email.

@GG2 - Anunusedname was access from Samsung Contacts app, not the Recent tab on Phone app.

@Anunusedname - GG2 was showing the call history under Phone app, Recent tab, click each contact, info.

Same thing happens in both circumstances

I think you have cleared all calls history. The remain entries are not call history. It is just an email history.
