I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 phone. I do have Samsung Music but all of my songs are on Onedrive. How do I add that to Samsung Music app?

You have to download them to your device. Use the OneDrive app or the My Files app

Downloading doesn't work. The files are physically on my Galaxy Note 9 phone, but Samsung Music never finds them. There also seems to be no way to copy One Drive music files to the Internal Storage Music folder where Samsung Music expects music files to be.

Thanks CHMultimedia.

Hi MidnightStarr2020,

As said by CHMultimedia, the Samsung Music app will search through the files saved to your device and will automatically add any music that it finds.

do the music apps collect music from both the "phone" music folder and also the "SDcard" music folder?

Hi Lynx007, It depends on the Music player application you are using. Are you having any issues with your Samsung device?

Except that it doesn't. It never finds One Drive files, even those that are downloaded.

If you attach your phone to your pc, open file explorer to your phone you will see the music folder, if you copy your music here you will be able to play it on your phone, was miffed it didn't let  me select my OneDrive music folder as my default source

CloudPlayer is your best bet. Between  Windows Phone and Groove Music Player being EOL, I use this to play my music on OneDrive on Android. Been rock solid since 2018!
