Someone please help!!!

Is there a way to stop my Samsung Galaxy S9 from adding a hyperlink when typing in an email address in text? It underlines my email address and blocks my underscore and people don't see it and I don't want it to do that if possible

I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked you to post that, duh 🤦!
I needed to see though bc I didn't understand 🤔
Please delete that screenshot with your info!
I would if I could 🤷

I can see the underscore...
When a hyperlink is shown and there is a space it means there is an underscore there bc there is no spaces in hyperlinks, you can also see it in the screenshot

Hi Dragonflame7,
If you have selected the Messages app as a default app, the hyperlinks will be displayed with an underline.
Please follow the steps below on your phone and check if it works.
Go to Settings> Apps> Select the Messages app> Set as default> Clear defaults.
