I never knew how much battery the Adaptive Battery feature drained until recently. I disabled it 2 weeks ago and noticed an improvement in battery life. It seems like the feature uses a lot of CPU cycles to learn your usage patterns and constantly shut down background tasks as necessary.
That’s a really interesting observation. Adaptive Battery can sometimes have the opposite effect. Great tip for others to try disabling it if they’re seeing poor battery life.
