Your Galaxy Tab 4 supports Android 5.0. You should have had an official update. What model is it?

@Cassidy - If Root is available for any device & if there's any Custom Rom Development for the device - Then sure you can likely Flash a more current Android version - I've never owned a Samsung Tablet - So I don't know how much Development there is?
Just like I have Android 10 running on my Note 3 & Pie running on my Note 4 - But these are fairly popular devices and there's a lot of Development for them - Same with the S7 incidentally - I was running Pie on it before I sold it - XDA is a good place to look for Custom Roms for your Tab 🙂🐧

Tab A 4 7.0... Ah I see why you didn't get any update.
There is however an official firmware with Oreo. It's for the T230NZ, a 2018 refresh which seems to have the same specs. You could give it a try?

Your links aren't working. All lead to 404.

Careful as the Tab 4 7.0 uses a different SoC than the Tab 4 10.1 and 8.0, both which were more popular and got 5.x

I don't have that app indeed.
Also the link here leads to incompatible ROMs. The Tab 4 7.0 uses a Maxwell SoC, the two other tablets uses a Snapdragon 400.
