I like having predictive text and auto correct on as it helps me fix the typos I make. Whenever I type my friend's name in (Andres) it always automatically changes it to "Andre's", which can be confusing when I don't catch it. Is there a library where I can add words to it so my phone will stop correcting it?

None that I know, but if you type Andres enough times, or any other unknown word for that matter, including abbreviations, the keyboard will learn that it's really a word you meant to type and will add it to its custom predictive text database (locally, don't worry).

In my case, it took a bit of time before my phone understood that I meant to type Rogers instead or Roger's...

Not ideal, I know. It would be nice if this feature could be added as it would certainly be useful.

Thank you for replying! I had a feeling that was the case. I have the same problem with "Rogers", too, and the odd word. But yeah, I totally wish they had this feature. It seems a little basic to me.

When Andre's shows up in your predicted words list, press and hold it until it asks you to remove it in "learned words" so it doesn't show up again as a prediction all the time.

You can also add in text shortcuts ( in keyboard settings - smart typing ) the words Andre and Rogers and those will show up as soon as you type the first few letters of the words.

My typing(especially swype) is bad for some reason. I dont know if I just have clunky fingers or what, haha. But, the predictive text, or autocorrect doesn't fix it enough it seems.
